Hooray for Sunday birthdays and going to class with a hangover.

Sadly, my best friend is going home on Wednesday and never coming back here again :(

I'm making fajitas tonight and OHMYGOD they smell so. good. I'm gonna be bummed beyond all reason if these end up sucking cause I'm even making my own tortillas and everything (cheaper AND taste better? okay!).

Cooking this has totally made up for the difficult day the kids gave me at work today. In short, I love cooking someone please give me a fucking huge kitchen and an unlimited budget.

So it's a beautiful Saturday morning in Duluth. The temperature is a lovely 66 degrees, and the entire fucking city is focused on running cause of Grandma's Marathon. All I wanna do is go on a run this morning, on this wonderfully perfect running morning and I CAN'T cause I have to be inside for 8 HOURS to get trained in CPR/First Aid. I haven't been up for running for about a week cause by the time I get home from dealing with bitchy middle schoolers I'm too exhausted to get my lazy ass out of a chair and go for a run. This needs to be resolved.

I am so not used to living waaaaay up north. I woke up this morning, looked outside, and thought "mmm, it's sunny and beautiful...must be at least 70 already!" Then I looked at the weather online and saw it was only 49. 49!!! Freaking northern Minnesota. Seriously, just warm up a bit, k?

So I feel pretty much like crap right now. Someone care to save me from my stupid, scared self? Want to inject some logic into my mind? Anyone?

I move in to my new place in a new city with a kind of but not really new boyfriend a week from Friday. Seriously.

This summer is going to be so awesome.

By ordering things online! Specifically, ordering cookbooks! Oh I am so excited seriously I can't wait to get these and try new recipes!

I may or may not be a little crazy, but I like to cook, okay?

I have a little problem right now. My face is red and somewhat hive-ish and itchy and really fucking hot (warm-hot, definitely NOT attractive hot). Ummmm....WHAT?

I hate this college for requiring me to waste my time on higher level math that I will NEVER use in my life again.

Seriously, when the hell will I ever need to indirectly differentiate an equation? Ever? No, I think not. One more week left, and I'm really hoping my grade doesn't take a serious nosedive even though I know it probably will.

Summer needs to start right now cause I'm about as burnt out as one can get on school.

Guess what? I have an apartment. With a guy. Near a lake and stores and everything.

I feel a bit too grown up now, but at least I'm happy :)

Three weeks of class, three days of finals.

I hate my college's lack of technological knowledge. Seriously, is it that damn hard to register ALL our classes online? Apparently, yes. If I can't get into a theology class, I'm most likely going to have to take three labs next semester. Plus being an RA. Plus working at Hogan Bros. Oh god that would be such a difficult schedule. I guess I'll have to wait for Wednesday to figure it all out!

We got a call from the apartment people; they have a one bedroom open, and I just have to call back on Wednesday to set up a appointment for a walk through. Then, hopefully, we'll sign the lease and later that day we'll find jobs. I hope. At least I am planning on finding a job. I dunno about Brandon. I hate how busy the last few weeks of school get to be!

I should probably go start researching for a paper that's due soon. Meh, it can wait, I suppose.

Oh boy I'm in Duluth and looking for a job yaaaaay....

Oh god, guys. I finally start to get over my ear infections/sinus infection, and what do I get? MONO it appears! My first test came back negative, but the nurse said "I really shouldn't say this, but I bet you are in the early stages of mono." It's viral (since I just finished antibiotics), it has nothing to do with my lungs, has made me super exhausted, has swollen my lymph nodes and glands to painful proportions, and gave me a fever.

OH BOY I LOVE BEING SICK IT'S SO MUCH FUN TO HAVE TO CALL IN SICK TO WORK AND FEEL LAZY MISSING CLASS ALL THE TIME.

Do you know what the best feeling in the world is? Being madly in love. On a wonderful spring day. When that wonderful spring day ends in a concert. A Haley Bonar concert. Which you attend with said person you're madly in love with.

Today was a very good day :)

It's nearly fifty degrees outside, I went on a ridiculously fun shopping spree with my mom yesterday, I'm in love and have been able to cuddle and sleep next to my boyfriend so much lately, and my roommate is out of town all weekend.

Ah, life is good :)

I have a sinus infection. And a double ear infection. Ouch.

Work tonight should be fun since I can't really hear out of my left ear very well and my balance is pretty fantastic. Watch out, people, I might spill your soup all over the place! I saw one of my coworkers in the nurse's office, and he thought he had a sinus infection as well. Oops, maybe I'm spreading it all around. I'm cool like that, what can I say?
